Most landlords will require a credit report when you apply for a rental. With credit check fees of $20 to $25 per property, this can become expensive very quickly. To assist you in this area, South Bay Rentals can run a credit report for you, for a one-time $20 fee, which will include a copy for yourself as well as 3 sealed copies that you can then give to landlords. If just one landlord accepts the credit report then it will already have paid for itself. You will not only save money but you will also get a chance to see your credit report for yourself.

$20 one-time, non-refundable fee

South Bay Rentals will run your credit report through Experian (TRW) the #1 credit reporting agency. This report will include consumer credit information, residence history, evictions, bankruptcies and other public records
You will receive 3 copies in sealed envelopes for landlords and 1 for yourself within minutes. With your personal copy you can make an unlimited number of copies for landlords.
Your original credit report will remain on file in our office for the duration of your membership.

How to get your Credit Report:

Order online instantly or to have South Bay Rentals prepare your credit report, you will need to fill out an authorization form and either fax it to us or bring it to our office. In either case, we will need to see photo ID. Download a pdf of our Credit Authorization form. Fill out the form for a credit check and then fax it to our office.

*South Bay Rentals cannot guarantee that any individual landlord or property manager will accept this credit report. Some landlords or property managers may require prospective tenants to pay a fee so they may run a credit report themselves.
